The Naturopathic Approach

Many people are initially hesitant to consult or follow-up with a dietary practitioner because they are concerned about disclosing information about what they have, or have not, been eating.  There is a sense of worry about what their practitioner might think.

Well, Naturopaths are people too!  We love chocolate and all the naughty things, but we enjoy them in moderation.  Personally, I live by the 80/20 rule, which means that 80% of the time I am good to my body and mind, and for the rest I simply relax and go with the flow.

Of course, if I have a patient with a serious, debilitating condition, or someone with a real determination to get better as quickly as they can, it's appropriate to consider a more regimented approach.  But on the whole I find that people enjoy much more lasting improvements if they take smaller, more realistic steps.

If shyness has been the primary reason for you not getting in touch with a Naturopath, then please do not hesitate to give us a call!
