How should I prepare?
Please avoid drinking alcohol (definitely) or caffeine (including tea) 24 hours before your appointment. Alcohol and caffeine will dehydrate the body and therefore affect the results of bioimpedance (body composition) tests. Please drink plenty of water and herbal teas to obtain the best test results.
It is helpful if you complete a food diary for at least 2 days prior to the consultation. Try to record what, how much, and the timings for particular foods you have eaten, as well as how your energy and mood may have changed throughout the day.
What should I bring with me?
Any supplements and medications you are currently taking, with dosage recommendations from your GP.
